Where can I get the HOL code?

May 2, 2013 at 1:31 AM
Hi,
sorry if this is a dumb question, but I could not find where I can get the HOL code for the BRDLite. The downloads only has the pdf and the xaml files. Thanks!

If you are referring to FabrikamFiber preferably use Brian Keller's VM (http://aka.ms/VS11ALMVM) or refer to Supporting Guidance and Whitepapers (https://vsarguidance.codeplex.com), category supporting code samples, for a version of FF.

Thanks for your reply! I looked at the FF zip file from Supporting Guidance, but it does not have the BuildCustomazation_ATE\BRDLiteTemplate directory. I am trying to do step (4) of "Add the Solution to Source Control" and I cannot find the folder from where to get the files.
I am also trying to get the VM, but having issues getting the Download Manager. Not very lucky here.

All the guidance is based off the 2 templates for ASP.NET (BRDLite2.0, BRDLite2.0-ExtendingHol) which is found in the download. If you are trying to add the template to source, you can use the templates I discussed.

Sorry guys, but I am still having issues. I loaded the VM, hoping that it would have the "C:\HOL\BuildCustomization_ATE\BRDLiteTemplate" directory on it, no luck. I tried to open the BRDLite.xaml on VS 2012, it tells me that it has an error on the XAML and cannot open. I was hoping that the "C:\HOL\BuildCustomization_ATE\BRDLiteTemplate" would have the solution. I looked at the HOL and it talks about a "Visual Studio ALM Rangers Base Image". I search the internet and cannot find it too. BRDLite.xaml looks very promising, but it is frustrating when I try to open it and it fails.
